I know it's January, but I think it's safe to say that we are all dreaming about warm summer days! We are already planning some trips to the beach this summer, I can't wait for Harper to sink her toes in the sand & see the ocean for the first time. I also can't wait for a delicious umbrella-embellished beach cocktail, let's get serious.

There may not be anything cuter than a baby in a bikini! I was so in love with Harper's one shoulder black swimsuit from last year & the matching swim cap. I bought it while I was still pregnant & now totally regret not buying it in every size that it came in.
We are hoping to get her in some swim lessons before we hit the pool this summer! :)

I know I'm getting a little bit ahead of myself thinking about summer, but at least we aren't planning outfits for next Christmas quite yet. Tomorrow, we'll be back on track with some Valentine's Day festiveness! :)

I have been looking at swimsuits already too! I haven't bought any only because Claire doesn't gain weight very easily. She is just in 9 months at almost 15 months so I have no idea what size she will be in. Cute suits!

ReplyDeleteI've already bought 2 bathing suits...I seriously can't help myself! We live in north Texas and it gets beastly hot down here. We'll be spending our days lounging at a friend's pool or out on the lake in our boat! Can't wait!

ReplyDeleteI don't fault you for planning beach trips and baby bathing suits!!! When my son was about 2 months we took him to the beach, completely covered of course and in the shade! In Texas you really can't help but go to the beach. We also started him in swimming lessons at 3 months old and now he loves the water!! We also can't wait for this summer!!!

ReplyDeleteI am so excited for Zoey's first summer (not in my belly)! She was born in August. She has quite the swimsuit collection already... I can't wait! As soon as the weather warms up, we're going to get one of those little kid pools for the back yard, so we can play before the big pool opens up. Wooo!

ReplyDeleteI am right there with you with already buying swim wear. Living in Texas and with you in Georgia we are blessed that summer greats us a lot sooner than others! I already bought Elle two swimsuits and some summer skirts! As much as I love the jeggings for winter I am ready for sweet summer dresses and pool days.
ReplyDeleteHi there! Quick question. You mention a lot of how you've bought things the season before. Have you found that most has fit at the appropriate times that you bought them for. I assume you just go by the general months she'll be and get the outfits that would be that time period. I've tried this and I am nervous when my guys finally gets here I'll have a ton of crap for him that doesn't work in each season. Love all Harper's fashion sense these days ;)

ReplyDeleteLord she's adorable !!! I wanted to reccomend you look into ISR as a swim program, we did it with our daughter (now3) and will do it with our new little guy (2mths) this summer! It really makes the water SO much SAFER my daughter was actually dimming in her own the first day! Any ways just FYI Infantswimmingresource is the website I think!
